Claire Milican from National RDA is willing to come and do a FREE training session on Group Governance and we have provisionally set the date for Thursday the 30th November 2017.

The workshop will be at Cymau Village Hall (which is in the Cymau Village, near to the Clwyd Special Riding Centre, Wrexham) and anyone who is interested in coming is welcome to attend for free.  I can send directions.

If you wish to book a place then please let me know by November 14th, and supply your name and telephone number- in case of insufficient interest we may have to cancel and I will therefore need contact details to let people know.

Registration from 10.30am and start at 11am.

The workshop will be around 2.5 hours in length.

The workshop will cover…

§  The essentials of RDA including: the constitution, membership, voting, AGM/EGMs

§  Key roles on an RDA board of trustees

§  Recruiting trustees

§  Where to find advice and information

§  What to do when things go wrong

Many thanks-  PLEASE PASS THIS ON TO ANYONE YOU THINK MAY LIKE TO ATTEND.  Attendees do not need to be existing trustees, everyone is welcome!

Clwyd Special Riding Centre is temporarily closed for any equine activity

To our friends and supporters, including those who had planned to visit us at Clwyd Special Riding Centre.

Some of our horses at the riding centre have caught a respiratory infection, and this will thus have several repercussions:
 First, we are resting the horses and ensuring that with rest and treatment their recovery is as quick as possible.
 Second, we need you to avoid all contact with any horses, not because of any risk to human health, but because any contact just might lead to non-affected horses at CSRC and elsewhere, becoming affected.
 Third, we still welcome those who wish to participate in CELT activities that do not involve contact with horses. These CELT exercises will still be undertaken to the great benefit of so many visitors. We look forward to seeing you.

Obviously we will not be able to have visiting horses, nor sadly will our horses be ridden by any visitors.

We are fortunate that our veterinary surgeons are attending regularly in order to treat affected horses and thus return us to all regular working activities as soon as possible for you.

We will keep you informed if any changes occur.

Thank you for your support and patience,

Clwyd Special Riding Centre
