The Clwyd Special Riding Centre is a centre in North East Wales provide facilities and opportunities for Riding, Carriage Driving and Equestrian Vaulting to people with special needs and physical disabilites.
Four Riding for the Disabled member groups ride, drive and vault at the centre: Hope Mountain, Dyffryn Ceiriog, Wrexham and The Clwyd Special Riding Trust Group.
The centre also hosts training events, competitions and residential holidays for RDA groups.
Facilities include indoor and outdoor riding arenas, residential holiday house and all weather outdoor track around the 32 acres of land owned by the centre. A new centre for Therapy is currently being built, Project CELT – Centre for Equine Learning and Therapy’ funded by Big Lottery Fund.
