As the North Wales Regional Treasurer, my job is to spend the money. Just not all at once.
The Region has a modest sum invested under the National Office’s appointed investment management company and this does give us a small income. However it is nothing like enough to support the growing activities as we develop the Region. My colleagues have given you an outline of the training, development and support that we are trying to make available and I try to ensure that we can fund them.
That is challenging because we do not wish to compete with groups for fundraising and so I try to offer other support with advice about GiftAid, banking and so on.
